U2 360° Tour

U2, the rock band originating in Dublin, Ireland, has gone on a worldwide tour with many stops in the U.S. this summer.  The band formed in 1976 and has released 12-studio albums,won 22 Grammy awards-more than anyt other band, and has sold 150 million records worldwide. Rolling Stone ranked U2 number 22 in its list of "100 Greatest Artists of All Time".

The 360° tour launched in support of the band's most recent album No Line On The Horizon, and has grossed over $558 million in ticket sales making it the highest-grossing concert tour as of April 2011. Although tickets are sold-out at the box office, great seats are still available at AdmitOne.com!As of June 2011 the tour holds the record for the highest attended tour of all ti,me, beating out the Rolling Stones Voodoo Lounge Tour.

The 360° Tour, as suggested by its name, features a 360° stage setup with a four-legged steel structure holding up the speaker system and a cylindrical video screen featuring elaborate lighting effects. This stage set-up has been what makes this tour unique to any other tour of our time- that paired with the live performance and sounds of U2 pair to be what would be an unforgettable event.
